Passions

life. light. friends. family. love. photography. art. color. design. traveling.

Aspirations

I would love to become a represented by a gallery and use my photography as my main career, alongside having my work published. I hope to be able to purchase my own home/apartment in the future, maybe in the city somewhere. And go back to school and get my degree in history or anthropology. I also want to travel much more often.

Wishes

When I was a child, I wished for a unicorn, but now all I wish for is stay healthy, find someone to spend the rest of my life with, and good friends

In five years what do you see yourself doing?

Still taking photos, but probably still having a day job as a designer. I’d be 29, so hopefully have a more permanent place to live.

Activities

I work full time, but freelance in photography and design, including web-design. I also spend my weekend attending anime/manga/video game/comic book conventions and photographing the cosplayers and events.

About Judy

Judy shows that it's never too early to be active, gaining job experience at 10 years old. Originally from Dearborn, Michigan in metro Detroit Judy became familiar with many types of people from around the world. This familiarity gave her insight on helping others especially when she worked with Focus Hope, a community based outreach program while she was still in High School. At the Center of Creative Studies, Judy realized that art had the power to bring people together and she found her own power behind a lens. Because her willingness and skill at helping others in the center she spent a lot of time helping other students whether they were younger or older than she is. Judy knew she didn't want to stay in Michigan, she developed her love for an art form often taken for granted…photography. “I was hooked on art…but I couldn't draw.” Now 23 years old and after being in New York City for seven years Judy has amassed a wealth of knowledge with her BFA in photography that she received in the spring of 2007, and from her job at Mavel.com as a junior web designer.
